925 Silver or Sterling silver is an alloy containing not less than 92.5% silver content.

Gold plated jewelry requires special care. Tarnishing of gold plated is natural and should be expected to occur. The extent of tarnishing depends on various factors, including, among other things, individual body chemistry, humidity in the environment, frequency of use, and care.

Gold plated jewelry should be removed prior to bathing, showering, washing hands, swimming, exercising, and applying perfume, hairspray, or lotion, as exposure to moisture or chemicals may cause tarnishing to occur faster.

If your gold plated jewelry needs to be cleaned, avoid all chemical cleaners. A 100% cotton or microfiber cloth is best for cleaning gold plated jewelry.
