To prevent your silver from oxidizing, we recommend you do not swim, bathe, or shower in your jewelry. Storing your jewelry in a dust bag or box, with a polishing cloth, will prevent unwanted tarnish. If tarnishing does occur, gently clean your jewelry with the provided polishing cloth. Please review our Product Care section on our webpage to learn more about how to take care of your piece. Each one of them has different aspects to it and requires different care.
Gold plated jewelry requires special care. Tarnishing of gold plated is natural and should be expected to occur. The extent of tarnishing depends on various factors, including, among other things, individual body chemistry, humidity in the environment, frequency of use, and care.
Gold plated jewelry should be removed prior to bathing, showering, washing hands, swimming, exercising, and applying perfume, hairspray, or lotion, as exposure to moisture or chemicals may cause tarnishing to occur faster.
If your gold plated jewelry needs to be cleaned, avoid all chemical cleaners. A 100% cotton or microfiber cloth is best for cleaning gold plated jewelry.
